Answer:

mass of boy,M = 50 kg

area of sole of the feet ,A= 50 cm^2

as we know that 1 cm = 10^-2 m so,

A = 50 ( 10^-2)^2 m^2

A= 50×10^-4 m^2

gravity, g = 9.8 m/s^2

force exerted ,F = Mg

F= Mg = 50 × 50 × 10^-4

F = 100× 10^-4 = 10^-2 N/m^2

now pressure exerted by a boy =

force exerted by boy / area

p= F/A

p= 10^-2 / 50×10^-2

p= 1/50 pa

p = 0.02 pa
