  • Given :

=> Volume of H2 gas (V1) = 1L

=> Pressure of H2 gas (P1) = 0.8bar

=> Volume of O2 gas (V2) = 1L

=> Pressure of O2 gas (P2) = 0.7bar

=> Total volume after mixed both (V) = 2L

  • To Find :

=> Total pressure after mixed both (P) = ?

  • Formula :

=> As per Bauyle's law relation between pressure of gas and volume is given by...

 \underline{ \boxed{ \bold{ \rm{ \pink{P\propto{ \frac{1}{V} \:   \blue{\longrightarrow} \:   \: \therefore \: PV = constant }}}}}}

=> So, we can say that...

  \:  \:  \:  \:   \underline{ \boxed{ \bold{ \rm{ \red{P_1V_1 + P_2V_2 = (PV){ \tiny{mixture}}}}}}}

  • Calculation :

 \leadsto \rm \: (1 \times 0.8) + (1 \times 0.7) = P \times 2 \\  \\  \leadsto \rm \: P =  \frac{0.8 + 0.7}{2}  =  \frac{1.5}{2}  \\  \\  \underline{ \boxed{ \bold{ \sf{ \orange{ \therefore \: P{ \tiny{mix}} = 0.75 \: bar}}}}}
