The ratio of the perimeter and the diameter of a circle is 22/7.

Given:

a circle

To Find:

we need to find the ratio of the perimeter and the diameter of the circle

Solution:

the perimeter of a circle is its circumference

the formula for calculating circumference is = 2πr

where r is the radius of the circle

the diameter of a circle is twice its radius

⇒ diameter = 2r

thus, the ratio = 2πr/2r

= π

we know that π = 22/7

Thus, the ratio of the perimeter and the diameter of a circle will be 22/7.
