Given:- The figure with A as perpendicular and B as base.

To find:- what will be the ratios of sides for sec A and cosA

SOLUTION:-

• Now we have given the figure .

• Perpendicular is A and base is B.

• So hypotenuse will be---

C = √( a² + b² )

•Now:

Sec A = Hypotenuse/Base

Sec A = C = √( a² + b² ) /b

Cot A = Base / Perpendicular

Cot A = b/a

Answer:-

So, sec A is √( a² + b² ) /b and cot A is b/a

I will hope that it will help you
