naoh + cl - is the answer I think

snehadubey529: Yeah, cause it was Ferrous oxide and aluminium not NaCl. :-)

Nacl2 + h2O is the reaction

snehadubey529: No, it isn't. I am sorry if I sounded rude. but the reaction would be NaOH + Cl2 because when an acid reacts with an oxide of any metal than it forms Hydroxides. :-)
