What will be the resultant force when two forces act in opposite directions on an object?

  • If both the forces have the same magnitude then the object will remain stationery , but if any one of the force is greater than the other then the difference of both the forces are taken and the object moves in the direction which had the greater magnitude . Hope you understood it  well !
