World wide web would not work efficiently without the anchor tag. The anchor tag helps is interlinking webpages a d also to create any hyperlink in the web page. If the a nchor tag is removed then no hyperlink would be added to the webpage and the interlinking of different web pages won't take place.And so we will not be a le yo go from one web page to the a other wrb page.
Hence the anchor tag plays a keyrole in linking webpages so as to form the world wide web.
