Answer:

product of even number of negative integers will always be positive.

product of odd number of negative integers are always negative.

product of a positive integer and a negative integer is always negative.

product of even and odd number of positive integers will always be positive.

product of two positive integers are always positive

with these 5 rules,

in the given problem,

sign of 5 positive integers are positive

sign of 6 negative integers are positive

therefore the product of these two are always positive.

What will be the sign of the product of 5 positive and 6 negative integer

\large{\underline{\red{\bf{Answer:-}}}}

\sf{Sign \:change\: on\: multiplication:}

\math{-\: * \:+\: =\: -}

\math{-\: * \:-\: =\: +}

\math{+\: * \:-\: =\: -}

\math{+\: * \:+\: =\: +}

\sf{\underline{\pink{First\: we\: have \:to \:assume\: 5 \:positive}}}

\sf{\underline{\pink{ and \:6 \:negative\: integers:}}}

Let the 5 positive integers be +a, +b, +c, +d, +e

Let the 6 negative integers be -f, -g, -h, -i, -j, -k

\sf{\pink{\underline{Multiplying\: them:}}}

+a * +b * +c * +d * +e * -f * -g * -h * -i * -j * -k

\sf{\blue{Take\: the \:signs\: out\: of \:the\: bracket}}}

\implies (+ * + * + * + * + * - * - * - * - * - * -)(a * b * c * d * e * f * g * h * i * j * k)

\implies [(+ * -)(+ * -)( + * -)( + * -)( + * -)(-)](a * b * c * d * e * f * g * h * i * j * k)

\implies [(-)(-)(-)(-)(-)(-)](a * b * c * d * e * f * g * h * i * j * k)

\implies [(- * -)(- * -)(- * -)](a * b * c * d * e * f * g * h * i * j * k)

\implies [+ * + * +](a * b * c * d * e * f * g * h * i * j * k)

\implies [+](a * b * c * d * e * f * g * h * i * j * k)

Let (a * b * c * d * e * f * g * h * i * j * k) be q

Then product is

\implies +q

+q is positive

Ans. Positive
