what will be the sign of the quotient, if the dividend is a negative integer and divisor also is a negative integer?

Here is your answer :-

If the dividend is negative and divisor is also negative then, the quotient will be " positive ".

Let's take an example :

Dividend = -4

Divisor = -2

Then, quotient = -4/-2 = 2 , which is positive.
