What will be the sign of the resultant
integer; if we multiply 15 negative integers
and 6 positive integers?​

It is very simple to find the answer...

Lets use an easy method,

You should see that an odd number of negative integers yield a negative integer, and an even number yields positive integer. Product of positive ingers is always a positive integer..

- 15 ( no. of negative integers ) × 6 ( no. of positive integers ) = - 90

The resultant's sign is ( - ) negative..

There is another method.. And thats just for ur understanding..

Let all the negative integers be - 1

Therefore, - 1^15 i.e. - 1 × - 1 × - 1 × - 1 × - 1

× - 1 × - 1 × - 1 × - 1 × - 1 × - 1 × - 1 × - 1 × - 1 × - 1

We finally get the answer as - 1

Now let all the positive integers be + 1

Here we get 1^6 i.e. 1 × 1 × 1 × 1 × 1 × 1 product of positive ingers is always a positive integer.. So, now the answer is + 1

- 1 × 1 = - 1

So, the resultant's sign is ( - ) negative.
