There is a property of finding squares of real numbers.

The square of no. with unit digit 1 and 9 always have 1 in its unit digit's place.
The square of no. with unit digit 2 and 8 always have 4 in its unit digit's place.
The square of no. with unit digit 3 and 7 always have 9 in its unit digit's place.
The square of no. with unit digit 4 and 6 always have 6 in its unit digit's place
The square of no. with unit digit 5 always have 5 in its unit digit's place.

Therefore, 81² will have 1 in its unit place.
272² will have 4 in its unit place.
729² will have 1 in its unit place.

you can check it by calculating it.
81² = 6561
272²=73984
729²=531441
