what will be the value of k if (x-2) is a factor of polynomial p(x)-2x³-6x²+5x​

x-2 = 0

x = 2.

p(x) = 2x³-6x²+5x+k =0

p(2) = 2×(2)³ -6(2)²+5×2+k=0

p(2) = 2×8-6×4+10+k=0

p(2) = 16-24+10 +k = 0

p(2) = 2+k = 0

k = -2.
