=> 3( (x - 3) + 7 ) = (7x -1)

=> 3(x-3) + 21 = 7x -1

=> 3x - 9 + 21 = 7x -1

=> 3x +12 = 7x - 1

=> 3x - 7x +12 +1 = 0

=> -4x +13 = 0

=> -4x = -13

=> 4x = 13

=> x = 13/4

=> x= 3.25
