Step-by-step explanation:

volume of cylinder =πr^2h

radius=7 cm

so, diameter = 7+7= 14cm

so, height= double the diameter , so

14+14= 28

now substitute in the formula

πr^2h=22/7×7^2×28

= 22×7×28

=4312

  • Volume of cylinder is 4312 cm².

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

  • Radius of cylinder is 7 cm.

To find:-

  • Volume of cylinder.

Solution:-

Diameter = Radius × 2

= 7 × 2

= 14

Diameter of cylinder is 2

It is given that, height is double the diameter of cylinder.

So,

Diameter is 14 cm

Height = 14 × 2

= 28

Height of cylinder is 28 cm.

Diagram :-

 \setlength{\unitlength}{1mm}\begin{picture}\thicklines\multiput(-0.5,-1)(26,0){2}{\line(0,1){40}}\multiput(12.5,-1)(0,3.2){13}{\line(0,1){1.6}}\multiput(12.5,-1)(0,40){2}{\multiput(0,0)(2,0){7}{\line(1,0){1}}}\multiput(0,0)(0,40){2}{\qbezier(1,0)(12,3)(24,0)\qbezier(1,0)(-2,-1)(1,-2)\qbezier(24,0)(27,-1)(24,-2)\qbezier(1,-2)(12,-5)(24,-2)}\multiput(18,2)(0,32){1}{\sf{7 cm}}\put(9,17.5){\sf{28 cm}}\end{picture}

Now,

Volume of cylinder is πh

Where,

  • r is radius and h is height of cylinder.

Put r and h in formula

 \longrightarrow 22/7 × (7)² × 28

 \longrightarrow 22/7 × 7 × 7 × 28

 \longrightarrow 22 × 7 × 28

 \longrightarrow \purple{\boxed{\sf \bold{4312}} \star } \\

Therefore,

Volume of cylinder is 4312 cm².
