Work done by the car = 10000 J

The work done by the car will be equal to the change in the kinetic energy of the car.

Kinetic Energy = 1/2 mv²

Initial velocity = v1 = 18 Km/h = 5 m/s

Final velocity = v2 = 54 Km/h = 15 m/s

Initial kinetic energy = 1/2 mv1²

= 1/2 × 100 × 5² = 1250 J

Final kinetic energy = 1/2 mv2²

= 1/2 × 100 ×15² = 11250 J

Work done = Final kinetic energy - initial kinetic energy

= 11250 - 1250

= 10000 J

Work done by the car = 10000 J
