Since I had given the class 9th exam recently from NCERT books and from CBSE pattern but nothing had came in my exam from the MCB
but If it will come in your exam then you must read the passages of the chapters especially the last 3 chapters.

Our teachers had told us that paper will come from board but the paper had not come from board , it was made by the school teachers

and in literature
In Literature please focus on the syllabus after the Half yearly exam because majority of the questions came from those chapters and in drama the 'Villa for sale' was the most important in drama syllabus.
and in maths which chapter is important
All the Geometry chapters.
and in polynomials
none
Polynomials are important but maximum syllabus from geometry especially the Area
