Firstly the farming lands will be greatly reduced and the fruits/vegetables that were once planted there will most likely die off unless the farmers have water reserves they are pretty much fine for the time at least,in the long run it would lead lets say 20–30years many types of animals and plants would be on the verge of extinction, humans would eventually go to purifying the sea for drinkable water.
Water will become more expensive then ever, because natural water sources will diminish by the day and the government will resort to giving free amount of water to people.
Worst case scenario :
50–100 years of drought will lead to most animals dying on a massive scale, most will go extinct some will live in safety of human zoos and plant life will be massively reduced.
Water will be the new oil no longer will nations go to war for oil but they will go for water “mainly natural sources of water” (the few that are left at least).
In short It won't be an easy ride, famine poverty and wars will plague the world, one would certainly hope that it won't ever go that way
i hope it helps to you ☺☺☺
