Explanation:

1 salt will absorb water from vegetables because of exosmosis

2 exosmosis take place and grass will die

3 two of cell will shrink because of exosmosis

Answer:

1. When you add the salt, vegetable release stores water, this is happening due to the osmosis (active transport) process. Actually when we add salt the concentration of the saltoutside the vegetable increases which leads to the flow of water molecules from thevegetable.

2. If conc. solution of fertilizers is applied to green grass lawnexothermic reaction will take place due to which the grass will die because of the conc. of fertilizer is more than thesolution present in grass.

3. If you keep a plant cell in highly conc. salt solution, the solution being at a higher concentration than the cell sap causes exosmosis  to occur thus the water is drawn from inside the cell and the cell shrinks in size and becomes flaccid.
