What will happen if a convex mirror is used in the experiment ?

Experiment is to determine the focal length of concave mirror by obtaining the images of an object at different distances

if convex mirror is used instead of the concave mirror we could get the erect images when we place the mirror ,at infinity and at a fixed distance whereas if we use concave mirror we could get the real and inverted images ,when the object is placed at various distances from mirror
