And according of Law of Reflection, angle of reflection, r=i=0

And, angle of incidence and reflection are angles from normal.
Hence, reflected ray is also along normal that is ray is reflected along the same path.

If light is incident on the mirror along the normal then the angle of reflection and angle of incidence will be same and they will be equal to zero degree . Hence the light ray will retrace its own path .
