(i) The two ores of zinc are calamine ore and zinc blende. The chemical compound present in calamine is zinc carbonate (carbonate ore) and its chemical formula is ZnCO3. The chemical compound present in zinc blende is zinc sulphide (sulphide ore) and its chemical formula is ZnS.

(ii) Zinc is alloyed with Lead and Tin to make solder, a metal with a relatively low melting point used to join electrical components, pipes, and other metallic items. Other Zinc Alloys include Nickel Silver, typewriter metal, and German Silver. Roughly one third of all metallic Zinc produced today is used in galvanizing.

(iii): elements above hydrogen in the metal activity series will displace hydrogen from dilute acids as they more reactive than hydrogen.
