WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF ALL THE RIVERS OF NEPAL DRY UP COMPLETELY

Answer:

This is what will happen in Nepal :

If all rivers became dry land, one thing that would happen is that we would have more dry land.

A second thing that would happen is that there would have to be a huge area and volume at the source of these rivers that would have to be available to accumulate all the precipitation (rain and snow) that was supplying these rivers.

Another thing is that a few billion people that were relying on these rivers for their drinking water and moisture for their farms and ranches would have none and all die.

As many rivers feed lakes before they find their outlet to oceans, the lakes would soon cease to exist, and in those areas the climate would change to more extreme ranges of temperature and aridity.

In many areas anadromous fish like salmon would have no place to go to spawn, and probably would become extinct.

Important efficient transportation corridors on the former rivers would cease to exist.

Lastly (I think) an important fraction of the world’s electric power would no longer exist.

It is probably a good thing that there is no physically realistic way that rivers could cease to exist.

         Hope it helps...

The rivers won't be so called rivers anymore.

What type of question is this and why Nepal ? Don't you think it's already known to you ?
