As we know that pure water is a hypotonic solution that is, amount of solute is less and solvent is more. If we put a cell into fresh water, the solvent will go inside the body of the cell and the cell will burst.

The cell stop working , Futher we can call it a " Dead cell ".
And due to the stoppage of cells human or the organism will DIE .
