Answer:

A. In case nails are made of plastic they won't develop any longer since plastics don't develop If chime is made of wood then it won't create sound since its a non metal and non metal are non resonating. Wood is limit, so if blade would be made by wood things can't be cut.

B. Metals are essentially crystalline, but are prone to slippage of atoms. A bell must be hard enough to resonate. Alloying copper hardens it and improves its elastic range. Wood dissipates vibrational energy due to the irregular matrix structure of fibres and the entropy of intermolecular forces.

C. Tongs are generally used to lift objects so rubbers are not used because they are generally used for lifting a very hot or cold object(rarely) in a moment while temperature is not a considerable factor for during this time. So fitting rubber on tongs isnt necessary.

D. If it is made of wood we can't cut anything as it is not sharp. If a knife is made of wood it will get broken easily as it will not be as strong as a knife made of steel .The knife made of wood will be strong but only for a short period of time.

E. If axe is made of rubber, the we will not be able to cut wood.
