a.) no change in colour is seen.

  • In test tube A the colour will change as, it is an acid so, blue litmus turns to red

  • Test tube A contains dilute HCl and test tube B contains dilute NaOH. On adding blue litmus solution to both the test tubes, the colour of test tube A will change from blue to red while the colour of test tube B will remain same. This is because HCl is an acid and acid turns blue litmus to red.
