Coming directly out of the oven, cookies will absolutely be soft and squishable; which is why you should wait a few minutes before moving them offthe baking sheet and onto a cooling rack (you can cheat this time if your cookies are all on a sheet of parchment paper, and you move the parchment paper as a whole).

First, cookies are not boiled, they are baked in ovan or in microwave.
So, my friend your question is wrong. They are baked not boiled.
Also, if we immediately put out cookies directly outside then it will react with air and will be soft and dry in touch.
