1. The fuel pump of diesel engine use diesel as lubricant also, petrol will cause lack of lubrication in it and hence will cause wear.
2. The injector pressure is very high, which will immediately ignite the petrol and knocking may occur.
3. Flywheel is very heavy and other components too... Petrol will not be able to produce energy in tuning with these parts.
4. A lot of repair work will be required.
