• COMPETITION FOR NUTRIENTS - If the distance between the seed is less during sowing , the seeds will also fight for nutrients as the amount of nutrient in soil is limited.
• MORE TIME TO GERMINATE - If seed is sown in depth then the seed will take more time to germinate .
• FEAR OF PREDATOR-If the seed is sown in less depth then predator , can easily harm the seed.
