what will happen if dry raisins are kept in an hypotonic medium ? Give resions.

When it is kept in water the water start moving from its higher concentration to lower, i.e. inside raisins. But due to semipermeable membrane of raisinthe solutes remain inside raisin. Therefore the water increase insideraisin and due to its flexible wall it become turgid.

raisins will get swollen up insted of shrinking
