It will not happen in a short interval of time. Plus excess rainfall will replenish the underwater table. Where is the common sense here ?

If excessive rain falls on a region dried by drought then the area will get flooded as a result the lifestocks of that area will threaten and there will be a great danger of people in that area suffering from various waterborne diseases. Also there will be lack of food stock and people may die due to starvation …................
