What will happen if green house gases were totally missing in earth’s atmosphere? Explain?

the carbon dioxide is a green house gas and if it will be missing then the plants will be unable to make their food by the process called photosynthesis and if this will happen then amount of oxygen will become less.
the other reason is that if so will happen then the earth atmosphere will be cooler than it is at present as these gases absorb the rays of sun.
