It also plays an important role in formation of plasmalemma as it produces phoshpolipids, a major component of plasmalemma, thus it helps in its repair. It also forms hydrolytic enzyme containing lysosomes. Therefore, removing golgi apparatus from the cell will drastically effect the functioning of cell and its integrity with other cells of the body.
