what will happen if light would have mass? what will be the affect on our earth?

you must know that light don't have mass but it has momentum and that is given by mass energy equilibrium principles of Einstein and by these already light effects us but it doesn't effects us but we use it for our better ment as solar sail solar panels and many more things and if it would have 1kg of mass then light would not continue its speed of causality but then also it will throw out earth it would be like a huge meteor collapseing on to us and very soon earth would be no more and destroy into pieces
