what will happen if lymph is not returned to blood answer urgently

If lymph does not return to blood , lymph nodes will get swollen i.e  lymphoedema and lymphadenopathy.

         If the lymph is not returned back to the blood it would accumulate in the nearby tissues causing them to swell.  

         When blood flows through the capillaries due to low pressure, there is leaking of water and proteins to the surrounding which is collected by the lymphatic system in the form of lymph.  

          This lymph is then returned back to the bloodstream, if this collection and deposition do not take place then the leakages would get accumulated and swell the tissues.
