If all the microbes in the soil get destroyed, then all the soil respiration and soil nutrient cycling will be stopped.

The soil loses its nutrients and hence the plants will not get any nutrient from the soil.

And there will be no plants on Earth as they will not get any nutrients and hence Earth will be destroyed.

If Microbes in the soil get destroyed, there will be no recycling of the nutrition. This is because when a carnivore or other animal dies the decaying process is catalysed by microbial enzymes.

Explanation:

Hence in the absence of microbes this part will take much longer time and the part of the solar energy that is present in such creature will take a much longer time to reach the soil so there will be no recycling of the nutrients and the food cycle will be interrupted.
