If our diaphragm shows no movement then there will be no change in the thoracic and pulmonary volume so inspiration and expiration will not occur hence respiration will not take place and the person will die.

We will no longer be able to breathe if our diaphragm shows no movement.

Diaphragm paralysis can lead to even death because of respiratory issue.

Our diaphragm is an essential muscle that creates suction and let air get inside the lungs.

The respiratory system is majorly depended on the diaphragm.
