what will happen if petroleum reserve that totally exhausted

In simple sentence we can say ....

If petroleum reserve totally exhausted then all the transportation system will be terminated and transfer of foods and goods item will be impossible . The result will going to be so harsh just we can imagine it by this sentence "petroleum product act as life line" thats why scientists are continuously working on the optional source of fuel .
