If Rh -ve woman having Rh+ve child then, It depends whether is this women's first child or second.
It doesn't harm during first pregnancy.
During second pregnancy, when maternal blood comes in the contact with foetal blood (this is when uterus receives Rh +ve blood) her Rh antibodies recognizes the Rh proteins on the surface of the baby's RBCs as foreign cells and attack those cells as a immune response so Rh -ve antigens of maternal blood ruptures the Rh +ve baby's RBCs. This is known as erythroblastosis fetalis.
