What will happen if rubber string is used instead of spring balance in the experiment of Archemedes principle?

Answer:

Take a tumbler of water and place the tumbler in a beaker of known weight. Take a small stone and measure the weight of the stone by a spring balance. Note down this weight. Now, dip the stone completely in the tumbler slowly.
