What will happen if Solar power and Coal runs out?

Solar power won't run out for another 5 billion years by the time it does indeed run out the solar system will be long dead.

Coal is used for generating electricity in thermal plants(I hate this another cause for global warming) when coal runs out... poof major setback to electricity users like 95% of your race.

so to surmise whenever either of these run out you will be dead.
