If we have a simple bone then there will not be any joints. only wish the presence of joints we can vendor twist our backs. And thus we would not able tomove our back.

If our back bone have only one bone instead of vertebrae we can't bend frontwards and backwards .Our vertebrae has many joints. Due to these joints we are able to bend and twist our backs.
