Decomposers helps to clean the forest by decomposing the dead body of plants and animals.Wastes and the remains of dead organisms would pile up and the nutrients within the waste and dead organisms would not be released back into the ecosystem. Producers would not have enough nutrients

if the decomposers are destroyed then the biodegradable wastes and the dead bodies of plants and animals will remain forever on the earth and this will result into the accumulation of wastes on the earth and will also create imbalance in the environment.
