Working

✭ When current flows through the electromagnet, the electromagnet acquires magnetism and attract the armature towards it.

✭ As the armature bands towards the electromagnet , the gong is struck.

✭ But at the same time contact between armature and contact screw got broken and the circuit it gets switched off.

✭ As the flowing current stops ( Due to the break in the circuit ) , the electromagnet immediately losses its magnetism.

✭ Therefore it no longer attracts the armature.

✭ The armature gets pulled back to its original position by spring action. it now again comes in contact with the contact screw ; the circuit gets completed again. The cycle repeats itself and the gong gets struck again.

✭ Due to these alternate making and breaking of the circuit, the electric bell goes on ringing continuously as long as the switch is kept pressed.

Answer:

It will not attract the electromagnet because The soft iron strip of the electric bell attracts the electromagnet when an electric bell is transformed into an electromagnet because the name suggests that it creates magnetic fields around it and behaves like a magnet and Soft attracts the iron bar because it is an iran
