What will happen if the thyroid gland of a tadpole is removed?

The thyroid glands of the tadpole is useful for metamorphosis. If it is removed they won't be able to grow into frogs . The thyroid glands stimulize their growth if they are removed then the tadpoles won't be able to grow into an adult frog.

If the Thyroid gland is removed from frogs there grow would stop and they would not grow into frogs may it can result in there death , not only in frog in any animal thyroid gland is removed the grow will stop and it secrete hormones that are responsible for the growth of the animal .
