If the theory of inheritance of acquired character proposed by Lamarck would have been true than offspring's born later in parents' life would have better acquired characters and would be more advanced than offspring's that were born earlier. Also conditions such as boring of ears and nostrils in Indian women would have become an inherited condition. Thus, the set of genes would have changed in each generation due to the newly acquired characters.
