What will happen if there are no platelets in the blood ?

platelets's function is to clot the blood and prevent bleeding outside the body. if there are no platelets in the blood, then if we have a simple cut also, then the blood will flow and its flow can't be stopped due to absence of platelets. thus it will lead to death.
