If there are no trees then

  • First and foremost we won't be able to breathe due to the absence of oxygen.
  • The climate of the planet would also be drastically changed in the quick and extended term.
  • There will be no contribution from the forests to cloud formation and precipitation.
  • Trees preclude flooding by trapping water instead of letting it rush into lakes and rivers, and by easing coastal neighbourhoods from storm explosions.
  • They will be no tree to keep soil in place that would contrarily wash away in rain, and their root structures help microbial populations grow.
  • Previously forested areas would come to be drier and more inclined to extreme droughts.
  • When the rain did come, surging would be terrible. Enormous erosion would consequence in oceans, strangling coral reefs and other marine environments.
  • As decomposition gradually demolished the ticking carbon bomb, the Earth would adapt into an extensively warmer planet where life would not be able to exist.
