What will happen if there is anything missing in the food chain

If there is anything missing in the food chain the whole food chain will get disturbed it can also cause death of the one dependent on the particular item which is missing for example: Birds eat small fishes small fishes eat insects and now if insects are missing so small fishes won't get their food and because of that they can die and then if small fishes will also die the so Birds can also die so even if one item is missing from a food chain or anything is missing from a food chain other animals can suffer it can also cause many deaths..

So each and every thing is important in a food chain.. if there is anything missing so whole food chain will be disturbed and it can also cause stopping of food chain all food food chain can be stopped..
