If there is no balance between plants and animals then, the there will be disturbance in ecological balance or ecological imabalance will occur.

As if there will be no plant then , there will be lack of oxygen in environment as plants take carbon dioxide and release oxygen so after a period of time every animal including humans will die ... and if there will be no animal there will be lack of carbon dioxide in air and plants will not be able to make their food (as plants take c02 from environment to make their food) and will die after a period of time....

So animals are depend on plants and plants are depend on humans to be alive.... and maintain balance between them.
