what will happen if there is no large intestine in our body

The function of the large intestine is to get rid of food left over after thenutrients are removed from it, bacteria and other waste. This process is called peristalsis and can take around 36 hours, according to the Cleveland Clinic. First, liquid and salt is removed from thewaste as it passes through thecolon.

The large Intestine is important for the body to recover water from the digestive process; without one, we would die of dehydration and even the excretion would stop which will cause store of waste leading to dieseas
